Top 10 Expected Features of Upcoming Hyundai Styx SUV

Hyundai Styx will be loaded with premium features and comes in two petrol and one diesel option.

Hyundai Motors India Limited will be bringing their first ever compact SUV to India in the form of Styx.Debut at New York International Auto Show will be followed by the Styx launch in India in the first week of may.But will it be a success or why should I buy wait for it?

Since the past few years, this segment has grown up tremendously and more and more carmakers are eyeing this segment.With the launch of XUV300, the demand for features by the customers from this segment is increasing.To cope up with the aspirations of people and what the competition asks for, Hyundai Styx will be a premium feature loaded SUV with plush interiors.

So here are some of the expected features of Hyundai Styx:

1. Wireless Charging

This best in segment feature was recently introduced by Hyundai in it’s XCent as well as Elite i20 range.Hyundai is already offering wireless charging in Creta as well as Verna and the carmakers will also be providing this class leading feature for Styx as well.Currently, no compact SUV is offering this feature which will surely give Styx an upper hand over it’s rivals.

2. 17-inch Alloys

Like the Creta, 17-inch stunning diamond cut alloys will be on offer for Styx.In terms of design, it will be quite similar to it’s elder brother.Most of it’s competitors offers 17-inch alloys.Styx will get the bigger alloys only in the top-spec trims as well as in the top automatic variants.

3. Electric Sunroof

Sunroof has become common this days.Honda WR-V, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra XUV300 are offering this feature and it will also be seen on Styx which will be launched in India in May 2019.Sunroof will be on offer in Styx right from the third variant which will give customers a variety of choices.

4. Adjustable Headrests (3) for 2nd Row

For the second row passengers, all three adjustable headrests will be provided which Mahindra has also for its XUV300.It further enhances the comfort for the rear passengers.This premium feature will also remain exclusive for the top-spec model.

5. Auto Dimming IRVM

Hyundai will offer auto dimming inside rear view mirror in Styx.This safety equipment misses out on Hyundai’s top selling car, Creta.While standard IRVM will be for the base variants, Styx SX and SX(O) will offer this feature along with certain other top notch safety features.

6. LED Tail Lamps

Elegant looking LED tail lamps like Creta will be standard on Styx.Although the design of the tail lamps will be slightly rectangular to distinguish it from Creta.In this segment, XUV300 also comes with LED tail lamps which looking very stylish and are also offered right from the base variant W4 as well.

7. 7-inch Infotainment System

A responsive, feature loaded infotainment system will sit at the centre of the dashboard of Styx.While a smaller 5-inch system will be for lower trims, top variants will get this big music system setup with android auto, Apple Carplay, mirror link, navigation and voice controls.It also provides display for rear view camera.

8. Rain Sensing Wipers

Automatic wipers are another very helpful feature which is likely to be seen on Hyundai’s upcoming Carlino SUV.Rain sensing wipers along with tons of safety features in the higher variants of Styx will make this compact SUV the most value for money.

9. Steering Mounted Controls

High quality buttons will be provided all around the cabin.Steering wheel will get audio, bluetooth, voice recognition and cruise controls.These handy controls helps the driver to control the infotainment system, to carry out any call among others. 

10. Illuminated and Cooled Glovebox

The glovebox for Styx QXi will be a illuminated one for better visibility at night.This deep storage box will also be a cooled one which is very convenient in those hot summer days as it helps to keep the beverages and cold drinks chilled.
