Skoda has released another teaser for it’s upcoming first-ever Compact SUV which will debut early 2025 with launch taking place in March 2025. The unnamed SUV is underpinned on the same platform as the Kushaq, and thus will borrow few equipments from it.
The new Skoda SUV boasts a modern design with twin-pod LED headlights, a sculpted bumper, and a clamshell bonnet for a rugged look. Its ORVMs with integrated turn indicators and black-finished roof rails enhance its appeal. The side profile features a robust shoulder line, thick C-pillars, and new block-design alloy wheels. At the rear, L-shaped LED signature lights echo the Kushaq’s design.

Inside, the mid-variant SUV offers a 10-inch infotainment system, a glossy black 2-spoke steering wheel, an analog instrument cluster, and leatherette upholstery with a dual-tone cabin.
Powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, it delivers 113.98 BHP and 178 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox, and an estimated fuel efficiency of 20-22 KMPL.
Key features include a wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, sunroof, 10.25-inch infotainment, digital cluster, rear sunshades, powered driver seat, and electric parking brake. Safety features encompass six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, TPMS, and disc brakes. ADAS may also be offered.
Skoda is looking to achieve 75% localisation of parts for the SUV to achieve a competitive pricing. Hence, we expect the pricing from Rs. 8 to 15 lakhs, reflecting its features and performance. Upon launch, it’ll rival the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV3X0, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
