Tata Motors is now gearing up to launch the Nexon Facelift later this month, and upon its launch, it’ll rival the Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Fronx, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Nissan Magnite. To ensure it brings in better numbers in sales than it’s rivals, Tata Motors is going to introduce new features which it’s rivals won’t see it coming, and even bigger SUV will have a hard to compete as well. Therefore, we thought of comparing the Nexon Facelift against the Hyundai Creta to see what features Nexon Facelift gets that the Creta doesn’t.
- Front Parking Sensors
- 360-Degree Camera
- USB Type-C Charging Ports
- Connected LED taillamps
- LED Projector Headlamps
The first feature Nexon Facelift is getting over the Hyundai Creta is the Front Parking Sensors. We all know the benefits of the front parking sensors; its useful when you’re parking in tight spaces, or getting your car out of tight spaces, the sensors will continue to make sound to alert that you’re very close to the vehicle in front of you. Hyundai settled for only rear parking sensors in the Creta, although the facelift update of Creta is coming in February 2024, so its possible Hyundai might add this feature.
Next feature is the 360-Degree Camera that Creta doesn’t get. Maruti Brezza is so far the only SUV in this segment to offer a 360-degree camera as it gives you a better look at the surroundings and helps in parking as well. Tata currently offers this feature in the updated Safari and Harrier, and will be bringing it in the Nexon Facelift with improved quality and resolution to see those blurred details clearly. Another feature that Nexon Facelift gets is the USB Type C Charging Ports while the Creta gets USB Type-A Charging Ports.
The Hyundai Creta also misses out on Connected LED taillamps and LED Projector Headlamps which the upcoming facelift Nexon was spotted with this feature. The Creta is equipped with LED headlamps, and an reflector strip that connects the taillamps, and not the LED light bar in between connecting taillamps.
