Toyota has updated Rumion MPV in India by introducing a new variant, G Automatic (AT), while also re-opening bookings for the e-CNG. Deliveries for the new trim commences from May 5th, 2024.

Mr. Sabari Manohar, Vice President – Sales and Strategic Marketing made this announcement that Toyota Rumion, essentially a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Ertiga gets updated with a new variant, G Automatic (AT) offering more options for the consumers. It’s priced at Rs. 13 Lakh, and can be booking by paying a fee of Rs. 11,000. Deliveries will commence from May 5th, 2024.

Notably , Toyota has re-opened bookings for the e-CNG variant after it was halted due to the overwhelming response. Toyota had released a statement that reads, “The demand has surpassed our expectations resulting in a long delivery time across variants, especially for the E-CNG Option. This has necessitated us to temporarily halt bookings of the E-CNG Option only to avoid customer inconvenience due to longer waiting period.”
The G Automatic (AT) trim comes equipped with a 7-inch Infotainment with Wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto, Toyota i-Connect with Remote Control for Climate, Hazard Lights, Lock / Unlock; among other connected features. Safety features includes Dual Front Airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill hold, ESP, and more.
The Rumion now comes with 3 variants – S, G, and V with now all 3 variants having the 5 Speed Manual and 6 Speed Automatic Gearbox choices. The S variant is only trim to get the E-CNG Option. The Rumion pricing range is between Rs. 10.44 – Rs. 13.73 lakhs (ex-showroom).
