If we take the Indian market into consideration, Toyota and Maruti have been working together for a very long time. They have been creating and exchanging goods with one another for a while now. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Maruti Grand Vitara mid-size SUVs are the latest products of this partnership.
EXTERIOR
Now, the biggest differences between the two SUVs are in this aspect. The front grille and bonnet are divided by a chrome piece on the Maruti Grand Vitara. The latest generation Suzuki S-Cross sold outside of India appears to be the inspiration for the front fascia. The top rank goes to three-element DRLs with built-in turn indicators. Although the side profiles of the two SUVs are similar, the differences may be seen by the varied alloy wheels. The Maruti SUV’s rear fascia connects the three-piece parts with the tail lamp design. However, the tail lamp just partially surrounds the emblem rather than running the entire length of the back.
Although it has its own distinctive design components, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder also gets a similar overall appearance. The lower grille and the integrated double eyebrow LED DRLs give the SUV a powerful appearance. The taillights on this SUV are unconnected LEDs, unlike the Grand Vitara. As was already said, these mid-size SUVs stand out because to their alloy wheels.

INTERIOR
Only the seating and upholstery make a difference in terms of the interiors. The Grand Vitara’s inside is Rich Black imitation leather with Champagne Gold accents, whereas the Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s are Black & Brown.

ENGINE
Both SUVs are comparable in practically every way and share many mechanical components. They both have hybrid setups, both mild and strong. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that the output figures for the powertrains differ by a tiny amount. The Maruti Grand Vitara’s mild hybrid configuration (1.5-liter petrol with ISG) produces 103 bhp and 137 Nm of torque, while the powerful hybrid setup (1.5-liter petrol with Intelligent Hybrid System) produces 113 bhp and 122 Nm of torque. In contrast, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s moderate hybrid setup (1.5-liter Neodrive) produces 101 horsepower and 135 NM of torque, while the strong hybrid arrangement (1.5-liter petrol with Hybrid) produces 114 horsepower and 122 NM of torque.
