According to railway officials, the nearly 900 km elevated corridor between Ahmedabad and Delhi will reduce travel time between the two cities by approximately nine hours. The train service will originate from Sabarmati station, where a multimodal hub has been established. The route will include nine major stations, excluding the terminals at Ahmedabad and Delhi, covering key locations in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Haryana before reaching Delhi. The train is designed to operate at a maximum speed of 350 km per hour.

Meanwhile, the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train service is slated to commence operations by July 2026.
