EXTERIOR
Which one looks better is totally up to you, but the EV6 will inevitably be compared to the Ioniq 5. However, there is no denying that the two clearly differ in appearance.
Strangely, while not looking like one, the EV6 is really regarded as a large SUV (based only on its measurements). With its broad and low front end, raked-style roofline, and fat-bottomed rear end—all of which are emphasized by the stylish light bar that runs from brake light to brake light—it particularly cuts an attractive on-road figure in GT-Line trim. It kind of seems difficult to categorize, too. Part bloated hatchback, part coupe-style SUV, completely unrelated to the rest of the Kia lineup.
The XC40 supported the XC90’s design direction and is a knockout just like its big brother. Because everyone is playing the same game, the market has a lot of impressive designs, but the XC40 stands out from the crowd. The entire thing is much cooler than it arguably should be, starting with the iconic Hammer of Thor headlamps and continuing with the stylish concave grille, upright posture, blacked-out roof and C-pillar, and those distinguishing stacked taillights.

INTERIOR
The front and back cabin experiences are the true highlights. The twin-screen setup in the Kia looks sleek and contemporary, but you don’t have to rely on it to operate the car’s essential features. Instead, the air conditioning or the stereo, depending on whatever you’re using, is controlled by an active bar below with dials at each end.
The green materials used across the dash and in the seat upholstery feel premium to the touch, giving the environment a fresh, contemporary sense.
Volvo XC40 for Although in a more traditional manner, the cabin is also extremely wonderful. It’s not quite as modern as a newer German cabin, but you’re not shelling out an extra $20,000 for the luxury. The vertical screen works in its environment, the digital dashboard has a high-tech feel and the materials are very pleasant to look at and touch.
