
Tata Motors has officially showcased its new Baleno rival which comes with new first-in segment features!
Tata Motors has officially unveiled the 2025 Tata Altroz, a refreshed version of its popular premium hatchback. This latest update brings a host of design changes, advanced technology, and enhanced safety features, making it a strong contender in the segment against rivals like Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza.
Bold New Design – Inside and Out
The 2025 Tata Altroz receives significant styling upgrades. Up front, it features a striking 3D front grille, sleek Luminate LED headlamps, and a more sculpted bumper design. The rear is updated with connected Infinity LED tail lamps, while the profile boasts flush door handles and newly designed alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin sees a complete overhaul with the new “Grand Prestigia” dashboard, featuring dual 26.03 cm HD screens – one for infotainment and another for the digital instrument cluster. The use of premium materials, ambient lighting, and an air purifier further enhances the in-cabin experience. Segment-first features like a 360-degree HD surround-view camera, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, and a smart digital steering wheel add to the premium feel.
Advanced Technology and Safety Features
Tata Motors has equipped the 2025 Altroz with the latest technology, including wireless smartphone charging, AudioWorX with customizable audio modes, iRA connected car tech, and new 10.25-inch Fully Digital Cluster with in-built map display in the digital cluster.
Safety remains a top priority with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), SOS calling, a blind-spot monitor, and auto-folding ORVMs. The Altroz’s 90-degree opening doors ensure easy entry and exit, enhancing convenience.
Powertrain Options and New Trim Levels
The 2025 Tata Altroz continues with its powertrain lineup, offering:
- 1.2 L NA Petrol Engine: 87 bhp and 115 Nm of torque with 5 Speed MT and DCT Transmission
- 1.5 L Diesel Engine: 89 bhp and 200 NM of torque with 5 Speed MT
- 1.2-litre Twin-Cylinder CNG: 73 bhp and 103 Nm, paired with a 5 Speed MT.
The 2025 Altroz is available in five new personas (trim levels):
- Smart
- Pure
- Creative
- Accomplished S
- Accomplished+ S
It also offers a fresh colour palette with five options – Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Royal Blue, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.
2025 Tata Altroz: Launch and Availability
Following the official unveiling, display units of the 2025 Tata Altroz will arrive at dealerships later this month, with test drives commencing soon after. Tata Motors will announce prices and open bookings on May 22.
