MG has just launched a new car at just Rs. 4.99 Lakh with new features and options.

MG Motor India has introduced the 2025 MG Comet EV, offering enhanced convenience, comfort, and safety in India’s most compact electric city car. The updated model is priced from Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option costs Rs 2.5 per km. Customers can book the new Comet EV 2025 and the recently launched Comet Blackstorm Edition for Rs 11,000 at MG dealerships across India.

Variants and New Features

The 2025 MG Comet EV is available in five variants—Executive, Excite, Excite Fast Charge (FC), Exclusive, and Exclusive FC. Each variant comes with upgraded features to enhance the overall driving experience.

• Excite & Excite FC: Now equipped with a Rear Parking Camera and electrically adjustable & foldable ORVMs for better convenience.
• Exclusive & Exclusive FC: Feature premium leatherette seats and a 4-speaker audio system for an improved cabin experience.
• Fast Charge (FC) Variants: Powered by a 17.4 kWh battery pack, delivering a range of up to 230 km per charge.

MG Comet Blackstorm Edition

In February 2025, MG Motor India expanded the Comet EV lineup with the Blackstorm Edition, priced at Rs 7.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition includes:

• ‘Starry Black’ exterior with dark chrome & red accents
• Black MG badges and Blackstorm-branded leatherette seats
• 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system & digital instrument cluster
• Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
• Electronically adjustable ORVMs and a 4-speaker audio system

MG e-Shield After-Sales Package

MG Motor India is offering a comprehensive ownership package under the MG e-Shield program, including:

• 3 years / 1 lakh km vehicle warranty
• 3 years roadside assistance (RSA)
