Skoda is set to launch the second-generation Kodiaq in India, with prices to be announced in April 2025. The seven-seater SUV will be available in two trims initially—Sportline and Laurin & Klement (L&K). A high-performance Kodiaq RS variant will join the lineup later in the year as a fully imported model.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Variants & Features
The new Kodiaq will be available in Sportline and L&K trims, each featuring unique styling elements and equipment.
- Kodiaq Sportline: Expected to have blacked-out elements instead of chrome, including the grille, ORVMs, D-pillars, and alloy wheels. The cabin is also likely to feature dark upholstery and sporty accents.
- Kodiaq Laurin & Klement (L&K): Showcased at Auto Expo 2025, this trim will feature chrome highlights on the exterior for a premium look. The interior will have a lighter color scheme and additional features for enhanced comfort.
Additionally, Skoda will also bring the Kodiaq RS (performance model) in India by the end of 2025; it boasts sportier design changes, larger brakes, and a more powerful engine.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Engine & Powertrain
The second-gen Kodiaq retains the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 187.4 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) transmission that powers 4×4 Drive system.

For performance enthusiasts, the Kodiaq RS will deliver 261.37 bhp and 400 Nm, offering a more dynamic driving experience. While a diesel variant was showcased at Auto Expo 2025 under the Superb 4X4, Skoda has not confirmed its availability for the Kodiaq.
India Launch & Assembly Details
- The Kodiaq Sportline and L&K trims will be locally assembled, making them more affordable.
- The Kodiaq RS will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), similar to the Octavia RS, and is expected to carry a premium price tag.
With a blend of luxury, performance, and practicality, the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq is set to strengthen Skoda’s presence in India’s premium SUV segment.
