New Nexon Rival has been spotted in India continuing its testing with launch expected during the festive season!

The next-generation Hyundai Venue is gearing up for a festive season launch in India, promising significant design, feature, and safety enhancements while retaining its reliable engine options.

Exterior Changes

Codenamed QU2i, the upcoming Hyundai Venue has been undergoing testing, first in South Korea and now on Indian roads. Spy shots reveal a boxier, more rugged profile with sharp body lines, taking inspiration from the latest Creta and Alcazar models. The front end boasts a redesigned grille, new split LED headlamps, and revamped DRLs. Notably, the presence of a radar module hints at the inclusion of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), marking a step up from the current model’s camera-based system.

The side profile is distinguished by chunkier body cladding, updated dual-tone ORVMs, and sleek aero-inspired alloy wheels. At the rear, the Venue gets a revised bumper, a reprofiled tailgate, and a full-width horizontal LED light bar for a more modern look. Rear disc brakes, previously reserved for the Venue N Line, now extend to the standard model, enhancing safety.

Upgraded Interiors

The cabin of the next-gen Venue is expected to receive a comprehensive makeover. Highlights may include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a new dashboard layout. Hyundai is also likely to introduce premium touches such as ambient lighting, ventilated seats, and an upgraded centre console. The possibility of a dual-pane sunroof, a first for the Venue, further boosts its appeal.

Safety is another focus, with a potential suite of Level-2 ADAS features, including forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. Front parking sensors and rear disc brakes further emphasize Hyundai’s commitment to occupant protection.

Powertrain

Under the hood, the next-gen Venue is expected to continue with its tried-and-tested engine options:

  • 1.2 Litre naturally aspirated petrol engine – 5 Speed MT
  • 1.5 Litre diesel engine – 6 Speed MT
  • 1.0 :itre turbocharged petrol engine – 6 Speed MT, 7 Speed DCT

Expected Price and Rivals

While Hyundai has yet to confirm pricing, the new Venue could command a slight premium over the current model, which starts at ₹7.94 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will continue to compete with models like the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV3XO, and Skoda Kushaq.

Stay tuned for further updates as the next-gen Hyundai Venue moves closer to its official debut.
