Production-ready design of the new Mahindra three-row SUV has leaked online, revealing complete exterior and interior details.

Mahindra is gearing up to launch its next Electric Origin SUV, the XEV 7e, which will be the all-electric version of the XUV700. Following the introduction of the BE 6 and XEV 9e, bookings for select variants will begin from February 14, 2025. The XEV 7e has been spied testing multiple times, with its production-ready design recently leaked online.

Mahindra XEV 7e: Exterior Design

The XEV 7e retains the overall silhouette of the XUV700 but gets EV-specific tweaks. It features a blanked-out grille, vertically stacked LED headlamps, and inverted L-shaped DRLs spanning the bonnet.

The SUV has aerodynamic alloy wheels designed to reduce drag and improve efficiency. At the rear, it gets connected LED taillights and a chrome-finished faux diffuser. Compared to the XEV 9e, the XEV 7e has a more rugged-looking bumper and a distinct DRL setup.

Mahindra XEV 7e: Interior and Features

Inside, the XEV 7e will offer a three-row seating layout with premium touches like leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. Higher variants are expected to feature captain seats in the second row.

It will come with a three-screen dashboard setup, illuminated Mahindra logo on the steering wheel, and features like ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control, powered tailgate, ADAS Level 2, and wireless charging.

Mahindra XEV 7e: Powertrain and Range

The XEV 7e is expected to use the same 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs as the BE 6 and XEV 9e. The single-motor setup will likely drive the rear wheels, while a dual-motor configuration could offer AWD capability.

The electric SUV is expected to deliver a range of up to 650 km with the larger battery pack, providing strong performance and instant torque.

Mahindra XEV 7e: Launch and Pricing

Mahindra is likely to unveil the XEV 7e at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, with a market launch expected later in 2025. Prices are anticipated to start around Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom).

Once launched, the XEV 7e will rival the upcoming Tata Safari Electric and other electric SUVs in India, offering a compelling blend of range, performance, and advanced features.
