
Mahindra is preparing to expand its SUV lineup in India with the launch of three new models in the coming months. Two of these will be all-new electric SUVs built on advanced platforms, while the third will be a significant facelift of an existing popular model. These upcoming launches are part of Mahindra’s aggressive push into the electric and premium SUV segments, aiming to offer cutting-edge design, updated features, and cleaner powertrains to meet growing consumer demand and regulatory goals.

Mahindra XEV.7E

Mahindra during the premiere of the BE 6 and the XEV.9e accidentally revealed the images of the XEV 7E giving us a look at how the production-version will look. The EV is likely to debut at the auto expo with launch likely taking in the second half of 2025. The XEV 7e will come with big features like augmented heads-up display (HUD), triple 12.3-inches displays, powered front seats, Level 2+ ADAS, Ventilated Seats for both front and 2nd row, possible powered captain seats in 2nd row, etc. The XEV 7e comes in three-row Configuration which is essentially the EV derivative of the XUV700. The EV will come with the same 2 Battery Packs:
- 59 kWh Battery Pack: 228 BHP, 380 NM Torque – 500+ KM Range
- 79 kWh Battery Pack: 282 BHP, 380 NM Torque – 650+ KM Range
Mahindra Thar 3-Door Facelift
Expected Launch: Oct 2025

Mahindra will also launch a facelift for the 3-Door Thar by festive season with exterior looks similar to the Thar Roxx like new front fascia, alloy wheels, C-shape LED DRLs, etc. It’s likely it’ll retain the current engine options – 2.0 L Turbo Petrol, 1.5 L Turbo Petrol, and the 2.2 L Diesel Engine with transmission choices being 6 Speed Manual (MT) and the Automatic (AT). It may also get some new features such as dual 10.25-inches displays, electronic parking brake with auto hold, 360 Degree Camera, and possible it may also get ADAS.
