Tata and Maruti should be worried as Hyundai as planned to launch 3 New SUVs in India which will be priced under Rs. 10 Lakhs and further expand its portfolio in the Indian Market. Here’s everything we know about these upcoming SUVs –

New-Gen Hyundai Venue

Expected Launch: October 2025

Hyundai has been spotted testing the next-generation Venue in India and in South Korea. The new Venue will undergo full redesign for both the exterior and the interiors with inspiration from the Palisade (sold internationally) while also borrowing equipments from the Creta like the Quad-Beam Headlamps. The new Venue however will retain its 3 Engine Options – 1.2 L NA Petrol, 1.0 L Turbo Petrol, and 1.5 L Diesel with transmission choice being 6 Speed Manual / Automatic, and 7 Speed DCT.

Features-wise it’ll get ventilated seats, electronic parking brake, upgraded Level 2 ADAS, possibly Panoramic Sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, 360 Surround View Camera, and much more.

New Hyundai Bayon

Expected Launch: 2026

The Hyundai Bayon is an upcoming i20-based crossover SUV with a bold and modern design, featuring split LED headlights, a sporty C-pillar, and arrow-shaped LED tail-lights. Inside, it offers a premium cabin with dual 10.25-inch displays, soft-touch materials, ambient lighting, and spacious seating. It will be available with two petrol engine options — a 1.2L NA petrol and a 1.2 L turbo petrol — paired with manual, IVT, and DCT gearboxes. Key features include a sunroof, front ventilated seats, wireless charging, Bose sound system, and drive modes, while safety is enhanced with 6 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, 360° camera, and more. Expected to launch in 2026 after the next-gen Venue, the Bayon will be under 4 meters long for tax benefits, with prices likely starting around Rs. 9 lakh.

Hyundai Inster EV

Expected Launch: 2026

Hyundai will be launching the Inster EV in India next year which will have the similar dimensions as the Exter SUV. It’ll have two battery pack options: a 95 bhp motor with a 42 kWh battery delivering 300 km range and a 111 bhp variant with a 49 kWh battery extending up to 350 km. Both versions feature NCM battery chemistry, a heat pump, and 85kW DC fast charging. The Inster stands out with its twin 10.25-inch displays, smartphone-based key access, 360 Surround View Camera, and ADAS with functions like adaptive cruise control, and blind spot monitor.
