New-Generation Skoda Kodiaq

The new Skoda Kodiaq evolves its design with a familiar grille, sleeker LED headlights, and a redesigned bumper featuring a honeycomb mesh and aggressive air intakes. It now sports 20-inch alloy wheels, a tapered roofline, rounded wheel arches with black cladding, and sleeker C-shaped connected tail lights. Inside, the Kodiaq boasts a revamped cabin with a layered dashboard made of sustainable materials. It features a larger 13-inch touchscreen, physical controls, and a relocated gear stalk behind the steering wheel for added console space, maintaining a modern yet premium feel. The Kodiaq is powered by the 2.0 L Turbocharged Petrol engine delivering 198 BHP and 320 NM Torque paired to 7 Speed DCT Transmission. Skoda aims to locally assemble the knocked-down parts with launch expected to take place in April 2025.

Renault Triber Facelift

The 2025 Renault Triber facelift is expected to feature a refreshed front fascia with revised headlights and a sportier design, while the rear may get minor tweaks to the tail lamps and bumpers. It could introduce stylized steel or optional alloy wheels. Inside, updates may include a larger touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, auto headlights, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a wireless charging pad, along with improved materials and added safety features. It will retain the 1.0L petrol engine (71 bhp, 96 Nm) with 5-speed manual and AMT options, while a turbo-petrol remains unlikely, though a dealer-installed CNG kit may be offered. With prices currently between Rs. 6.10 lakh and Rs. 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom), a major price hike is not expected, and a launch is anticipated soon as test mules have been spotted in Chennai.

MG Majestor

Expected Launch: Q2 2025

The MG Majestor will be a more premium counterpart to the Gloster, following a strategy similar to Toyota’s Fortuner Legender. Positioned as the brand’s flagship SUV, it will be sold alongside the Gloster with notable exterior enhancements. Powering the Majestor will be the same 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, delivering 213 bhp and 478 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Buyers will also have the option of a 4WD system. Meanwhile, the Gloster made its local debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
