New Maruti SUV has just launched with big features which will now attract more customers to buy the SUV!

Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated 2025 Grand Vitara, with prices starting from Rs 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 20.68 lakh for the top-spec Alpha+ e-CVT Dual Tone (O) variant. The update brings key enhancements in safety, features, and powertrain choices, aimed at meeting the evolving expectations of SUV buyers in India.

Six Airbags Now Standard

In a major upgrade, the 2025 Grand Vitara now comes equipped with six airbags as standard across all variants. This move further strengthens its safety credentials and aligns with customer demand for enhanced occupant protection. Other standard safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, front and rear disc brakes, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and 3-point seat belts for all passengers.

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said,

“The updated Grand Vitara reiterates our commitment to adapt to changing customer priorities, especially regarding safety and comfort. By making 6 airbags standard across all variants and adding new premium features, we are enhancing the value proposition of our flagship SUV while staying true to the core values that define our brand.”

New Affordable Strong Hybrid Variant

Expanding its strong hybrid range, Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new Delta+ Strong Hybrid variant priced at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The strong hybrid lineup now includes Delta+, Zeta+, Alpha+, Zeta+ (O), and Alpha+ (O) trims. The SUV remains one of the few in its segment to combine hybrid technology with AWD capability.

A key mechanical update is the Suzuki ALLGRIP Select AWD system, now available with a 6-speed automatic transmission, enhancing both performance and driving comfort. This follows a similar update seen in the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

New Features

The Grand Vitara continues to offer a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, Head-Up Display (HUD), and Suzuki Connect telematics. Premium audio is handled by a system from Clarion.

To improve comfort and convenience, the SUV now offers an 8-way powered driver seat, auto air purifier with PM 2.5 display, LED interior lighting, and rear door sunshades. The Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) is also now available in 6-speed automatic variants.

The panoramic sunroof, a highly requested feature, is now offered in more variants including Zeta (O), Zeta+ (O), Alpha (O), and Alpha+ (O), instead of being limited to top-end trims.

On the outside, the 2025 Grand Vitara gets newly designed R17 precision-cut alloy wheels, adding a premium touch to its road presence.

E20 Fuel Compliance

The SUV continues to offer three powertrain options – Smart Hybrid, Strong Hybrid, and the ALLGRIP AWD system – all of which are now E20 fuel-compliant. This makes the Grand Vitara future-ready and supportive of India’s ethanol-blended fuel goals.

With 18 variants on offer and a wide range of features and powertrains, the 2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara presents a more complete package for midsize SUV buyers looking for safety, technology, and efficiency in one offering.
