Tata’s QWD system is engineered for all-terrain use and comes with six terrain modes. To assist with off-road driving and tight urban situations, the Harrier EV features a 540-degree surround view camera, including underbody visibility.

The Tata Harrier EV is available with two battery pack options — 65 kWh for standard range and 75 kWh for extended range. The larger battery offers an ARAI-certified range of 627 km, with an expected real-world range of 480 to 505 km.

For convenience, fast charging tech enables the vehicle to recover up to 250 km of range in just 15 minutes, making it ideal for long-distance travel and urban use alike.

Premium Features

Inside, the Harrier EV boasts a 14.53-inch QLED infotainment system, developed in collaboration with Harman and Samsung — marking a global first in automotive displays. The SUV is also equipped with a 10-speaker JBL Black system with Dolby Atmos, providing immersive audio quality.

Additional premium features include:

  • Ultra Glide Suspension with Frequency Dependent Damping
  • e-Valet Auto Park Assist
  • Digi Access Digital Key
  • DrivePay – Tata’s in-car payment system

Ownership Experience

Tata Motors has taken a bold step in enhancing EV ownership by offering a lifetime battery warranty — available to the first private individual owner. This confidence-inspiring move is likely to boost buyer trust and significantly lower long-term ownership costs.

Final Thoughts

The Tata Harrier EV stands out not just for its impressive specifications and performance but also for the value it brings through segment-first features, fast charging, and a comprehensive battery warranty. With competitive pricing and a focus on redefining electric mobility, it is positioned to lead India’s transition towards high-performance electric SUVs. The Harrier EV directly competes with other premium the Mahindra XEV.9E. By offering a powerful, tech-loaded alternative at price parity with ICE SUVs, Tata aims to redefine expectations in the premium EV segment.
