Zeekr, Geely’s premium EV brand, launched the global version of its Zeekr 009 MPV in Hong Kong, featuring a right-hand drive model with advanced tech, luxurious interiors, and multiple language support.

Zeekr, Geely’s premium EV brand, launched the global version of its Zeekr 009 MPV in Hong Kong, marking its push for international expansion. The event, held at the AsiaWorld Expo, featured Zeekr’s CEO Andy An introducing the right-hand drive (RHD) version, available in 6-seat and 7-seat configurations, priced at 755,000 HKD (approximately Rs. 79.43 L). This model includes a 116 kWh battery with a 582 km WLTP range and supports multiple languages, catering to international RHD markets.

In China, the revised Zeekr 009 also comes in 6-seat and 7-seat layouts, starting at 439,000 yuan (approximately Rs. 49.48 L). It offers a 108 kWh battery that charges from 10% to 80% in 11.5 minutes, and a rear-wheel drive (RWD) version with power options up to 310 kW. The top trim features an 800V platform with a combined power output of 580 kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.9 seconds.

The Zeekr 009 retains its previous design but now includes roof-mounted LiDAR and introduces new colors. It features luxurious interiors with Nappa leather seats, advanced infotainment systems, and a 30-speaker Yamaha audio system. Safety is emphasized with certifications for front and rear collision tests.

Zeekr has delivered over 87,800 units in the first half of the year, with the 009 becoming the top-selling MPV in its price range. The brand aims to expand to 50 markets by year-end, showcasing its global aspirations and innovative spirit.

As for the question, if it’s coming to India, at the moment, the answer is No because the company currently has no plans to introduce any new vehicles for the Indian Market.
