In the coming months, 4 new feature-packed cars under ₹10 lakh are set to launch in India. These upcoming models promise better performance, more space, and improved comfort. Three major automakers are in the spotlight – Hyundai will introduce the updated Venue and the all-new Bayon, Renault will launch the Triber Facelift, and Maruti is gearing up for the Fronx Facelift. Here’s a complete look at what’s on the way!

New-Gen Hyundai Venue

Expected Launch: October 2025

Hyundai has been spotted testing the next-generation Venue in India and in South Korea. The new Venue will undergo full redesign for both the exterior and the interiors with inspiration from the Palisade (sold internationally) while also borrowing equipments from the Creta like the Quad-Beam Headlamps. The new Venue however will retain its 3 Engine Options – 1.2 L NA Petrol, 1.0 L Turbo Petrol, and 1.5 L Diesel with transmission choice being 6 Speed Manual / Automatic, and 7 Speed DCT.

Features-wise it’ll get ventilated seats, electronic parking brake, upgraded Level 2 ADAS, possibly Panoramic Sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, 360 Surround View Camera, and much more.

New Hyundai Bayon

Expected Launch: 2026

The Hyundai Bayon is an upcoming i20-based crossover SUV with a bold and modern design, featuring split LED headlights, a sporty C-pillar, and arrow-shaped LED tail-lights. Inside, it offers a premium cabin with dual 10.25-inch displays, soft-touch materials, ambient lighting, and spacious seating. It will be available with two petrol engine options — a 1.2L NA petrol and a 1.2 L turbo petrol — paired with manual, IVT, and DCT gearboxes. Key features include a sunroof, front ventilated seats, wireless charging, Bose sound system, and drive modes, while safety is enhanced with 6 airbags, Level 2 ADAS, 360° camera, and more. Expected to launch in 2026 after the next-gen Venue, the Bayon will be under 4 meters long for tax benefits, with prices likely starting around Rs. 9 lakh.

Maruti Fronx Facelift

Expected Launch: 2025

The 2025 Fronx facelift will introduce Maruti Suzuki’s in-house strong hybrid powertrain (HEV), expected to deliver over 30 kmpl, making it one of India’s most efficient compact SUVs. This series hybrid system, using the petrol engine as a range extender, will also expand to models like the Swift, Baleno, and Brezza. Cosmetic updates, including a revised front grille and possible interior enhancements, have been spotted on test mules. While the current Fronx already offers premium features like a HUD, 360-degree camera, and six airbags, the facelift may also introduce an ADAS suite for added safety and technology, and new features like ventilated seats.

Renault Triber Facelift

Expected Launch: H2 2025

The 2025 Renault Triber facelift is expected to feature a refreshed front fascia with revised headlights and a sportier design, while the rear may get minor tweaks to the tail lamps and bumpers. It could introduce stylized steel or optional alloy wheels. Inside, updates may include a larger touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, auto headlights, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a wireless charging pad, along with improved materials and added safety features. It will retain the 1.0L petrol engine (71 bhp, 96 Nm) with 5-speed manual and AMT options, while a turbo-petrol remains unlikely, though a dealer-installed CNG kit may be offered. With prices currently between Rs. 6.10 lakh and Rs. 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom), a major price hike is not expected, and a launch is anticipated soon as test mules have been spotted in Chennai.
