Gensol has been spied testing it’s 3-Wheeler EV for the Indian Market revealing new details. Moreover, it might launch as motor tricycle and may require just motorcycle license.
Gensol Electric were spied testing in Mumbai with the manufacturing base setup in Chakan, Maharashtra. The Headquarters seems to be in Mundhwa, Pune. The 3-Wheeler EV was spied undergoing tests in Mumbai with their aim of launching affordable EVs for others to enjoy. While we know how the exterior looks, Halogen Headlamps and Tail-lamps, two-wheels at front and one at the rear which will the one you’re controlling for turns.

What’s interesting is that we got a look at the interiors revealing simplistic design. We can it has square-ish AC vents, rotary dials for HVAC Controls, 4-spoke steering wheels with audio-mounted controls, analog instrument cluster, and if we look carefully, there appears to be a infotainment with functions for radio and music only. Expect the EV to be equipped with 2 Speakers.
Technical details of the Gensol EV are mysterious for now, but the company was supposed to be unveiling the EV in March 2024. April has passed and we’ve got no update. So, expect the EV to sit below the Comet EV while also sporting a smaller 15 – 17 kWh battery pack with 150 – 200 KMs range keeping it strictly for City use only.
