A New Premium Kia SUV has launched in India with a bigger battery pack, new features, and new design.

Kia India has launched the 2025 Kia EV6 Facelift at Rs. 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom), following its debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in Delhi. The new EV6 comes in a single GT-Line AWD variant and features multiple design, technology, and performance upgrades.

Larger Battery and Improved Range

The biggest upgrade is the larger 84 kWh battery pack, replacing the previous 77.4 kWh unit. It delivers an ARAI-certified range of 663 km per charge. Built on the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV6 produces 325 PS and 605 Nm of torque. Kia’s ultra-fast charging technology allows it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes using a 350 kW fast charger.

Updated Design and Exterior Features

The 2025 Kia EV6 maintains Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design language while introducing several new styling elements. It gets new Star Map connected LED DRLs with sequential turn indicators, a revised GT-Line front bumper for a sportier look, and new 19-inch glossy alloy wheels with a geometric pattern. The connected LED tail lights now feature a flowing signature effect, and the rear spoiler and bumper have been redesigned for a more aggressive stance.

Kia is offering the EV6 in five color options – Snow-White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red, and Yacht Blue Matte.

New Interiors and Features

The cabin of the 2025 Kia EV6 receives several refinements. A new double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection technology replaces the older unit. The dashboard features a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display, giving the cabin a futuristic look. The Kia Connect 2.0 suite offers over 100 connected features, while Digital Key 2.0 with Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology allows remote access, including locking, unlocking, and starting the car using a smartphone.

The EV6 now supports OTA updates for 34 ECU controllers, reducing the need for service visits and ensuring the latest software updates are installed remotely.

Enhanced Safety

The 2025 Kia EV6 is equipped with ADAS 2.0, which includes 27 safety and driver assistance features. Five of these are new autonomous functions, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) 2.0 with Junction Turning, Junction Crossing, and Lane Change Assist. The Evasive Steering Assist and Lane Follow Assist (LFA) 2.0 further enhance safety.

Additionally, the Kia Connect Diagnostics (KCD) system enables remote vehicle diagnostics, providing real-time insights on vehicle performance and maintenance needs.
